This show had a dark film noir inspired animation style.  The Batman character was a man of few words. He has a few memorable lines but all of the really great monologues from this show are given by the villains. Batman: The Animated Series really highlighted the villains. The only real monologue given by the Batman character in this show was an inner monologue type voice over in the beginning of season 1 Episode 31 called "Dreams In Darkness". I transcribed it below. "There's always time to heal", the doctor told me, but he was wrong. There was no time left. Not for me, not for him,...

Gotham would decent into madness and chaos. Criminals would take over the city and streets of Gotham would be flooded red with bloodshed. We don't have to imagine if this scenario could actually happen because it did actually happen.       After the death of Batman , crime and choas were on the rise in Gotham , until a group of 4 Superheroes who were mentored by Batman picked up where Batman left off.       GOTHAM KNIGHTS tells the story of these 4 Super heroes collectively known as The Batman Family: Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and RED HOOD .       As they investigate...

BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE

I will receive a small fee, if you CLICK ON THE LINK and MAKE A PURCHASE.     "The Killing Joke" is a psychological thriller that details Batman's first encounter with the super villain, The Joker . The Writer, Alan Moore , uses the relationship between Batman and The Joker to ask and explore questions about sanity.       What is sanity? What is madness? Why do we hold sanity in such high regard compared to madness? What's the difference between someone who's sane and someone who's mad? What does it take to turn someone away from sanity and have them give into madness? The Joker says that the answer to that last question is "ONE BAD DAY" .      I have a theory that I believe can answer the same question in the opposite direction. What would it take for someone to turn away from madness an...

I will receive a small fee, if you CLICK ON THE LINK and MAKE A PURCHASE.      The hit animated series, Batman: The Animated Series, taught us alot about how The Joker feels about the cat and mouse game that he plays with Batman .       The Joker doesn't hate Batman or want to kill him. He actually loves Batman . The Joker needs Batman just as much as his crime victims do. Batman provides a counteracting force that brings balance to whatever The Joker does.      The Joker actually enjoys the little game where he throws that balance off by committing some crime and then having the balance restored when Batman brings him to justice. We see this same theory play out in the Dark Knight movie where Heath Ledger plays The Joker character.   ...

HARLEY QUINN IS TERRORIZING GOTHAM CITY

I will receive a small fee, if you CLICK ON THE LINK and MAKE A PURCHASE.      One of my favorite DC Multiverse villains, Harley Quinn , is back to to causing chaos in Gotham City.   .   She fell in love with the Joker, joined his gang, helped him commit crimes and even helped to break him out of jail. But The Joker didn't love Harley as much as she loved him. Shown by the way he smeared the cake all over her face at their wedding. That was the final straw. The last bit of disrespect Harley was gonna take from The Joker. Their twisted, toxic love affair ended as Harley slit the Joker's throat.  Now, She is no one's sidekick. Harley is her own boss.            Now, she roams the streets of Gotham robbing, kidnapping, ...

The Batman has been missing in action and now crime runs rampant in the streets. There's a rumor that Batman ....is dead. Commissioner Gordon flashes the Bat signal high into the sky every night with hope that the rumor is false and the Dark Knight will return.      Now comes great news from Entertainment Earth and McFarlane Toys. Batman ....returns. Batman returns in March of 2023 as a new 7 inch DC Multiverse Batman Hush action figure that's currently available for pre order.      This DC Multiverse Batman is dressed in his blue and gray costume and is fully articulated with 22 moveable parts for a complete range of great crime fighting ...
