BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE

   "The Killing Joke" is a psychological thriller that details Batman's first encounter with the super villain, The Joker. The Writer, Alan Moore, uses the relationship between Batman and The Joker to ask and explore questions about sanity. 
     What is sanity? What is madness? Why do we hold sanity in such high regard compared to madness? What's the difference between someone who's sane and someone who's mad? What does it take to turn someone away from sanity and have them give into madness? The Joker says that the answer to that last question is "ONE BAD DAY".
     I have a theory that I believe can answer the same question in the opposite direction. What would it take for someone to turn away from madness and choose what is deemed to be sanity? I believe that the answer is "ONE GOOD DAY". One good day where things go right.
     DC Comics has published a new 96 page hardcover edition of this great story. BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE: THE DELUXE EDITION (NEW EDITION). 
     This new hardcover edition includes Batman: The Killing Joke and stories from Batman: Black and White #4  and Batman: Countdown #31. This new hardcover edition also includes re-colored artwork done by Brian Bolland.
     The Killing Joke is not just a good read for fans of Batman, DC Comics, or comics in general. It's a good read for anyone who likes crazy psychological thrillers that will make you think and question your humanity.
